GAFCON 2018

Shoresh is honored to be an official tour operator for GAFCON Jerusalem 2018. GAFCON (Global Anglican Futures Conference) is the global family of conservative, evangelical, Bible-believing Anglicans.

We will be offering study tours both before and after this historic conference in June 2018.

Tour options

The Life & World of Jesus

Good for first-timers or those who’ve been before but not on an in-depth teaching tour.

We will trace the life of Jesus from his home in Galilee to Jerusalem, giving particular attention to the First Century Jewish context in which Jesus lived. Our goal is a better understanding of Jesus’ ministry and a better application of His teachings for us today. (map)
Ancient Roots of the Christian Faith

Good for second-timers or first timers in conjunction with The Life & World of Jesus.

We will travel through the land, from desert to mountains, to visit the places where important Biblical events took place, and dig deep into the Scriptures in their original context to learn about God’s faithfulness to His people, in the past, present, and future. The Bible will come to life for us as we explore the Negev, Judea, Samaria and the Shephelah (foothills).

The Life & World of Jesus + Ancient Roots of the Christian Faith

Those who wish can combine these tours, one before and one after the conference, to get a really comprehensive understanding of the Bible in its native context.
